Description:

IEM is looking to hire a Full Time – Talent Acquisition Specialist (Req ID: 3215) to assist with hiring efforts and support tasks across the many sectors of our company. The candidate we are looking for will have current experience in hiring within the emergency management and/or disaster recovery fields. We need someone with strong knowledge in all areas of employment recruitment including effective surge recruiting, sourcing methods, pipeline development and competitive compensation practices.

Essential Functions:

โ€ขCollaborate with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, assisting and advising them with the development of job requisitions.
โ€ขManage surge recruiting needs as well as candidate local pipeline development.
โ€ขEvaluate applicant resumes, screen applicants, and coordinate applicant interviews.
โ€ขGenerate candidate offer letters.
โ€ขKeep Applicant Tracking System updated- current system being used is ADP.
โ€ขDemonstrate a sense of urgency; often, we have high volume demands with a short time frame.
โ€ขWill utilize working knowledge of advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean string searches for obscure talent.

Minimum Qualifications:

โ€ขOne (1) to Three (3) years of experience recruiting talent for a company or agency within the emergency management or disaster recovery fields.
โ€ขFluent – Bilingual: English / Spanish
โ€ขProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
โ€ขAbility to work flexible hours to accommodate work schedules.
โ€ขAbility to attend job fairs across the US including Puerto Rico and other US territories.
โ€ขAbility to manage multiple, concurrent recruiting tasks and prioritize tasks based on competing demands.
โ€ขAbility to source and create strong networks of local talent.
โ€ขKnowledge of employment and labor laws and regulation compliance
โ€ขDemonstrated experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, and various job posting boards
โ€ขHigh level of skill in the following: project management, verbal and written communications, listening, confidentiality, detail-orientation, organization, negotiation, time management, self-initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

โ€ขBachelorโ€™s degree in human resources or related field
โ€ขExperience developing candidate pipelines across multiple states
โ€ขExperience with recruiting positions within the Emergency Management or Disaster Recovery fields.
โ€ขOne or more years of human resource experience.

Benefits:

โ€ขStarting salary based on location and experience: $60,000 – $72,500
