Freedom Fest 2026 at Columbus Air Force Base marks a historic milestone — 250 years of freedom, service, and community. This signature Fourth of July celebration is open to the public, as we proudly welcome the surrounding community for live music, aviation heritage, family experiences, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

Yes. Columbus Air Force Base will open its gates to welcome the surrounding community for this celebration. This is one of the few large-scale public events hosted on base. We anticipate 8,000-10,000 attendees.

4 July 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of American independence — a once-in-a-generation milestone. Freedom Fest uniquely combines military heritage, live entertainment, aviation elements, and fireworks in one unified celebration.
What media exposure and marketing support are included?
Freedom Fest will be promoted through local news and radio outlets, as well as through Columbus Air Force Base Public Affairs and Force Support Squadron Marketing channels.
Media outreach efforts are expected to include regional television coverage, local radio promotion, digital announcements, and social media amplification leading up to and during the event.
