Eligibility & Enrollment Information
The Columbus AFB CDC welcomes children ages six weeks to five years (up until kindergarten entry). Eligible families include active duty personnel, DoD/NAF civilian employees, contract workers, and retirees. Children are enrolled in full-time slots, with drop-in care available on a space-available basis. Hourly rates apply for drop-in care.
Special Opening Request
The CDC is available for special openings on weekends or evenings for unit or group functions. To request a special opening, please submit a written request to the director at least four weeks in advance. The request should include the desired date, hours of operation, expected number of children, their ages, and a contact name and phone number.
Part-Day Enrichment
Part-Day Enrichment is a great option for families who don’t need full-time care but want their child to participate in social and developmental activities. This program is available for children ages 3–5 and is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 0800 to 1230.
Join the Waiting List
To begin the enrollment process, visit MilitaryChildCare.com and create an account. Your information will be forwarded to the CDC through the system. When a space becomes available for your child, you’ll receive a notification via the Military Child Care portal. Families have three business days to respond to the offer.
