Newcomers Orientation

Join us for the Wing Newcomers Orientation at the Event Center! This workshop introduces arriving personnel and their families to key base personnel, mission resources, support programs, and everything CAFB has to offer.

The morning Family Track runs from 0815–1055 and is open to military members, spouses, and families. After lunch, tracks split for mandatory military member briefings and the new Family Blaze Base Discovery Tour for spouses and families.

NEW: Family Blaze Base Discovery Tour
Starting at 1200, spouses and families can hop aboard a guided bus tour around CAFB to explore recreation spots, family programs, fitness facilities, youth programs, and more. The tour also includes stops at Walker Center with opportunities to see the T-6 and T-38 training mission up close and take photos with aircraft.
