Get ready for a summer full of creativity, sports, leadership, adventure, and fun at Columbus Air Force Base Youth Programs! Summer Camps officially kick off on 1 June and run through 23 July, offering activities and experiences for kids and teens of all interests throughout the summer break.

This yearโ€™s lineup is packed with opportunities for youth to stay active, social, and engaged all summer long.

Full-Day Summer Camp Care for Ages 5-12

The Youth Center will offer full-day summer care from 0630-1730 for school-aged children during summer break.

Campers will enjoy a variety of activities throughout the summer, including:

  • Swimming
  • Bowling
  • Educational and recreational trips
  • Arts and crafts
  • Games and outdoor activities
  • STEM and enrichment experiences
  • And more!

Families interested in Summer Camp care are encouraged to request care by 22 May through the CYP-BMS Portal.

Specialty Camps for Ages 9+

In addition to full-day care, Youth Programs will host several Open Rec Specialty Camps from 0800-1200 for youth ages 9 and older.

The Arts Camps

  • 1-5 June: Adventure Camp
  • 8-12 June: Cooking with Chef
  • 7-10 July: Arts Camp
  • 13-17 July: Digital Arts and Animation
  • 20-24 July: Entrepreneur Camp

Sports Camps

  • 15-18 June: Flag Football Camp
  • 22-26 June: Fishing Camp
  • 29 June – 2 July: Volleyball Camp
  • 7-10 July: Challenger Soccer Camp (Ages 3-5)
  • 7-10 July: Challenger Soccer Camp (Ages 6-16)

Teen Summer Camps (Ages 13+)

This summer, Columbus AFB Youth Programs is also offering Teen Summer Camps designed specifically for Air Force teens ages 13 and older. These camps focus on leadership development, teamwork, self-confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving while helping teens connect with peers and the CAFB community.

Entrepreneur Camp | 1-5 June

Ever wanted to be on Shark Tank? Teens will work together to develop a concept or product designed to solve a problem and create a pitch to gain support and buy-in.

Leadership Camp | 8-12 June

Teens will build leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills through dynamic activities connected to careers in sports, multimedia production, business development, and S.T.E.A.M.

A Summer of Fun for Team 14 Families

Summer Camps at Columbus AFB are designed to give youth a safe, engaging, and memorable summer while helping families stay connected and supported during the busy summer months.
