Celebrating Ms. Nikosha Reed-Langford
Every month, the 14th Force Support Squadron recognizes a team member whose dedication makes a lasting impact on our mission and our community. For September, we’re proud to recognize Ms. Nikosha Reed-Langford from Child and Youth Programs.
Ms. Nikosha has been employed with the Columbus Air Force Base Child Development Center for 11 years! She began her career in the classroom, where she spent seven years helping children grow, learn, and develop in a safe, nurturing environment. Ms. Nikosha always loved working with children and creating a loving atmosphere where they feel comfortable playing, exploring, and learning. She says, “Watching the children grow and reach new milestones over the years has been incredibly rewarding”.
After seven years in the classroom, Ms. Nikosha had the opportunity to advance her career by accepting the Operations Clerk Position. She enjoys meeting new families and helping ensure that all their paperwork and enrollment requirements are completed before their child’s first day of school. Being able to welcome new families, provide support, and help make their transition into our program as smooth as possible is one of the most important and fulfilling parts of her job.
The work happening behind the scenes in Child and Youth Programs is essential to our Air Force, and employees like Ms. Nikosha are at the heart of that success. Her dedication reflects the values of the 14th Force Support Squadron and reminds us that exceptional service is built through consistency, kindness, and a passion for making a difference.
Thank you, Ms. Nikosha, for your service to our military community. Congratulations on being recognized as our September FSS Key Contributor. Your impact is felt every day, and we are grateful to have you as part of Team 14.
