SUMMARY:Newcomers Orientation
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Wing Newcomers Orientation at the Event Center! This workshop introduces arriving personnel and their families to key base personnel\, mission resources\, support programs\, and everything CAFB has to offer. \nThe morning Family Track runs from 0815–1055 and is open to military members\, spouses\, and families. After lunch\, tracks split for mandatory military member briefings and the new Family Blaze Base Discovery Tour for spouses and families. \nNEW: Family Blaze Base Discovery Tour\nStarting at 1200\, spouses and families can hop aboard a guided bus tour around CAFB to explore recreation spots\, family programs\, fitness facilities\, youth programs\, and more. The tour also includes stops at Walker Center with opportunities to see the T-6 and T-38 training mission up close and take photos with aircraft. \nTo sign up\, please call the Military and Family Readiness Center at (662) 434-2790.

SUMMARY:Family Blaze: Base Discovery Tour
DESCRIPTION:Family Blaze: Base Discovery Tour is a NEW guided experience designed to help spouses and families explore everything Columbus AFB has to offer. Held in conjunction with the Wing Newcomers Orientation\, the bus departs from the Event Center on 3 June at 1200. The tour will take families around the installation to discover recreation areas\, family programs\, fitness facilities\, youth programs\, and other key quality-of-life resources available to the CAFB community. \nParticipants will also visit the Walker Center for a unique look into the day-to-day life of a CAFB world-class pilot\, including opportunities to view the T-6 and T-38 training mission up close. \nFamily Blaze is a great opportunity for newcomers to get connected\, meet other families\, and become familiar with the resources and programs that support Team14.
