Stitch and Craft Sewing Camp from 16-20 June is designed to help the youth understand the art of sewing and how designing things can lead to a future in fashion, furniture design, and so much more. Youth will be learning the parts of a sewing machine and a serger, and how they operate. They will learn skills to produce clothing, blankets, pillows, and more. By learning the art of sewing, they will gain knowledge that can lead to a new career or hobby that can be beneficial to their future.
Youth Specialty Camps are open to ages 9–18 and run daily from 0800 to 1200; fees apply. Each week features a different theme, giving participants the chance to explore new interests, learn hands-on skills, and stay active during the summer. Open Rec begins at 1300 each day, offering additional time for fun, games, and socializing with friends. Camps are a great way for youth to stay engaged, build confidence, and make the most of their summer break.
